Who is playing Namor in Wakanda Forever?

On Saturday, July 23, 2022, Marvel Studios released the long-awaited teaser for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever at the San Diego Comic-Con.

The teaser introduces Namor, played by Tenoch Huerta, the underwater king. He will be pitted against the Wakandans in the film.

Angela Bassett returns as Queen Mother Ramonda to save her empire from interfering world powers following the death of King T’Challa played by Chadwick Boseman.

The teaser also introduces the characters of Nakia played by Lupita Nyong’o, Okoye played by Danai Gurira, and Shuri played by Letitia Wright.

The trailer shows moving between images of Wakanda’s aquatic environments, futuristic technology, and what appears to be a funeral with crowds of Wakandans dressed in white.

The makers teased fans with a glimpse of the next Black Panther near the end of the teaser.
The teaser is a short video.

The teaser is an emotional tribute to the late actor Chadwick Boseman, who played Black Panther.  The actor died of colon cancer, leaving fans all over the world in mourning.
