David Richard Moores, best known as chairman (1991–2007) and honorary life president of Liverpool F.C has died.

Moores became Liverpool F.C Chairman on 18 September 1991 and he owned 17,850 shares in Liverpool F.C. which represented 51% of the club.

It’s unclear if David Moores had children. However, he was married twice to first wife Kathy Anders, who was a beauty queen and model, who became Miss England in 1974. However, after just 18 months of marriage, Anders died in a car crash in September 1977, aged 26.
Moores took a second wife Marge in 1983 and they were married for 39 years until her death.
