John Carpenter First Wife: Who is Adrienne Barbeau?

Adrienne Barbeau is an American actress, singer and author of three books. She rose to fame in the 1970s as Broadway’s original Rizzo in the musical Grease, and Carol Traynor, the divorced daughter of Maude on the sitcom Maude.

During the 1900s, she became known for providing the voice of Catwoman on Batman: The Animated Series (1992-1995), and subsequent Batman cartoon series. In the 2000s, she appeared in the HBO series, cartoon series.

Barbeau got married to John Carpenter on January 1, 1979. The couple lived in the Hollywood Hills but according to Barbeau remained totally outside Hollywood’s social circles.

The couple had a son, John Cody Carpenter, who then separated shortly after and divorced later that year.
