Was Moore is an author, entrepreneur, television producer, and United States Army veteran from the United States. Moore was the CEO of the Robin Hood Foundation from 2017 to 2021.

Moore’s mother enrolled him in Valley Forge Military Academy and College after his grades dropped and he became involved in petty crime.

Moore earned an associate degree from Valley Forge in 1998, completed the requirements for the United States Army’s early commissioning programme, and was appointed a second lieutenant of Military Intelligence in the Army Reserve.

He served in the Army until 2006, including an overseas deployment for the Afghan War, and attained the rank of Captain.

Wes Moore attended college at Johns Hopkins University where he graduated with honours from Omicron Delta Kappa and Phi Beta Kappa in 2001 in international relations and economics.

He was a Rhodes scholar at Wolfson College, Oxford, where he earned a master’s degree in international relations.
