Charles Johnson was an American professional football player who played in the National Football League from 1994 to 2002. Charles Johnson later served as the assistant athletic director at Heritage High School in the United States of America.

Charles Johnson started his career at Cajon High School before joining the Colorado Buffaloes of the University of Colorado Boulder.

Charles Johnson was drafted by the Pittsburgh Steelers in the first round of the 1994 National Football League Draft and he played there till 1998. Charles Johnson joined the Philadelphia Eagles in 1999 and played till 2000.

After leaving the Eagles, Charles Johnson played for the New England Patriots in 2001 and then went ahead to play for the Buffalo Bills in 2002 before retiring.
