Sciambi’s long career as a baseball sportscaster has left people wondering if he ever played the game.
Did Jon Sciambi play baseball?

It’s not exactly known if Sciambi played baseball. Moreso, his nickname, “Boog,” was given to him owing to his physical resemblance to former major league player Boog Powell rather than any known baseball attributes.
