Guggenheim Baseball Management is the primary owner of the Los Angeles Dodgers professional baseball team. It is a private partnership formed by the Guggenheim Partners in 2011 to acquire the team.

Guggenheim Partners manages over $270 billion in assets. The firm was founded in 1999 in New York and Chicago and is now a global investment and advisory financial services firm that specialises in investment banking, asset management, capital markets services, and insurance services.

The conglomerate is headed by controlling partner Mark Walter, and also includes investors former Los Angeles Laker Earvin “Magic” Johnson, movie producer Peter Guber, baseball team executive Stan Kasten, investor Bobby Patton, and former Guggenheim executive Todd Boehly.

On May 1, 2012, Walter helped in the $2.15 billion purchase of the Los Angeles Dodgers by Guggenheim Baseball Management, LLC.

The amount was the highest ever paid for a professional sports team at the time. They also bought the  land surrounding the stadium for $150 million
