Norman Norton, the Assistant Coach of the Lincoln High School Wrestling team passed away on Saturday, July 16 2022 due to injuries sustained from a motorcycle accident that day.

The authorities have not yet made public any official reports regarding the accident.
Norman was known for his zeal and diligence. Norman Norton will be remembered for his no-nonsense attitude and the daily energy he brought to the sport.
Norton was raised in Tallahassee and assisted in managing his family’s tree-trimming company.

He began wrestling at Lincoln as a junior, and in his senior year, he narrowly missed qualifying for the state tournament.

Norton, according to Lincoln’s head coach Mike Crowder, always bought into what the team was doing and carried that attitude forward in life.
He had constant, crazy energy and was always enthusiastic about what we were doing, according to Crowder. He is constantly over the top and excited.
Florida High head coach Clay Allen tweeted from the team’s Twitter account. “His selflessness and infectiously positive attitude and the phrase “there it is” will always be what I remember about him. RIP Norm, you’ll be missed.”
