Shericka Jackson is a Jamaican sprinter specialising in 400 metres and short distances. She was born on July 16, 1994.

Jackson’s greater progress in the 400m came at the age of 21 in 2015, when she first went under 51 seconds in June and finally sub 50 seconds in August.

Jackson switched to the 100 metres and 200 metres for the 2021 season, running personal best of 10.77s and 21.82s respectively at the Jamaica Olympic Trials in Kingston.
She came third in the 100m at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics with an even better PB of 10.76s, just behind fellow countrywoman Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce who clocked 10.47.
The Jamaicans swept the medal stand in the event for the second time in history as Elaine Thompson Herah took a gold medal in 10.61.
