Paddy was born on August 14, 1973, in Farnworth, Lancashire, to Irish parents.

Paddy had his high school education at Mount St Joseph High School.

Paddy McGuiness Career

Paddy launched his television career in 1995, when he contested on the show God’s Gift, and the Sky 1 show The Match.

Paddy became famous when he began appearing on Peter Kay’s programmes That Peter Kay Thing, Phoenix Nights and Max and Paddy’s Road to Nowhere.

He also worked with Channel 4, ITV and the BBC, presenting game shows such as Take Me Out and BBC’s Top Gear.

Paddy collaborated with Keith Lemon to present The Keith & Paddy Picture Show, a comedy series on ITV, as well as The Greatest TV Moments of All Time.

Paddy became a panellist on the Keith Lemon’s shows Celebrity Juice and Through the Keyhole.

He later co-presented a couple of episodes of Even Better Than the Real Thing on BBC One.

The sports relief show, The Paddy McGuinness’ Sport Relief Warm-Up was one of his programmes. He was the voice behind the 2018 BBC series Ready or Not.

In 2021, Paddy was chosen as the new host of Question of Sport.
