He is one of only five players in MLB history to have surpassed 2,000 RBIs in his career, passing Alex Rodriguez for third place on the official all-time list during the 2020 season.

In 2018, Pujols recorded his 3,000th career hit, becoming the 32nd player in MLB history to do so.

Pujols also joined Willie Mays, Hank Aaron, and Alex Rodriguez as the fourth player in history to have 3,000 hits and 600 home runs.

He is one of only four players Aaron, Musial, and Mays to have more than 6,000 total bases, and he ranks fifth all-time in home runs and doubles. In 2009, Pujols set the major league single-season assist record with 185.
