Albert Pujols has had regular issues with his feet since 2004. Despite this, he still went on to become a great player. Albert Pujols was born in the Dominican Republic and later immigrated with his family in 1996 to Washington Heights in New York City.

Albert Pujols played baseball at Fort Osage High School in Independence where he was named an All-State athlete on two occasions. He started his minor league career in 2000 playing third base with the Peoria Chiefs of the single-A Midwest League after signing with the Cardinals.

Albert Pujols is the oldest active MLB player as of 2022. He was selected by the Cardinals in the 13th round of the 1999 MLB draft. He played his first 11 seasons in MLB for the Cardinals and played with the Los Angeles Angels for more than nine seasons.

Albert Pujols is expected to be inducted into the Hall of Fame in the future. He set the major league single-season record for assists with 185 in 2009.
