Harmonize is a popular Tanzania musician, Songwriter and Dancer best known for delivering brilliant fusions of his signature bongo Flava and catchy Afro-pop.

Harmonize Biography

Harmonize whose real name is Rajab Abdul Kahali was born on October 1991 in Mtwara, Tanzania. It was at the age of 18, that Harmonize took music seriously and went ahead to audition for one of the biggest talent search shows: Bongo Star Search.

Unfortunately, Harmonize also known as Konde Boy, did not get the success he had hoped for but still persisted in his search for prominence.

Harmonize Career

Harmonize is currently one of East Africa’s biggest acts with unwavering success which has attracted accolades and awards. However, his music career started in 2011.

Harmonize dropped his first commercially successful single “Aiyola” back in 2015 which has so far garnered over 10 million views on YouTube. In 2015, he met his fellow Tanzanian star, Diamond Platnumz and got signed as the first artist at the WCB Wasafi record label.

The two collaborated on a melodic single in 2016 titled “Bado” which was his first-ever collaboration with fellow Diamond Platnumz.

However, it was his 2018 collaboration “Kwa Ngwaru’’ with Diamond Platnumz that gave him a major breakthrough. It later became the first-ever music video by an East African artist to earn more than 10 million views on YouTube within its first month of release.

Harmonize left WCB Wasafi at the end of 2019 and currently records his music in his own label Konde Music Worldwide. He has gone ahead to earn more success as he showcases his unique talent each time he seamlessly fuses Afropop with Bongo.
