Georgia Ford, an American actress, is the daughter of Hollywood legend Harrison Ford and his second wife, screenwriter Melissa Mathison.

Georgia Ford was born in Chicago, Illinois, the United States of America, on June 30, 1990.
Melissa Mathison and Harrison Ford were married from March 1983 until their divorce was finalised in 2004.

Melissa Marie Mathison is best known for her screenplays for the films The Black Stallion (1979) and E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial (1982), the latter of which earned her a Saturn Award for Best Writing and an Academy Award nomination for Best Original Screenplay.

Her final film credit was The BFG (2016), her third collaboration with director Steven Spielberg. . She died of neuroendocrine cancer on November 4, 2015, in Los Angeles, at the age of 65.
