Evan James Springsteen (Singer): Who is Bruce Springsteen’s son?

Evan James springsteen is the first child of American singer, songwriter, and musician Bruce Frederick Joseph Springsteen and his wife Patti Scialfa.

Evan was born before his parents got married.

Evan’s parents got married on June 8, 1991 at their Los Angeles home in a private ceremony, only attended by family and close friends.

Evan, on the other hand, was born on July 25, 1990 in Los Angeles, California, United and his siblings are; Sam Ryan Springsteen and Jessica Springsteen.

Evan might not be the biggest fan of his dad’s Hollywood career, but that could be due to the fact that his parents Bruce and Patti shielded him and his siblings from the spotlight.

Evan, though, has continued to stay out of the limelight for the most part, aside from making appearances at red carpet outings or on his parents’ social media accounts.

Evan is also passionate about music and he sometimes sings and performs with his dad on stage.

However, Evan’s dad has said that his his children grew up having their own heroes and as such will even find it difficult recognizing his songs.

Evan’s dad said in a 2017 interview with The New York Times;

“We had our kids late, I was 40 when our first son was born, and they showed a healthy disinterest in our work over all the years.”

“They had their own musical heroes, they had their own music they were interested in. They’d be pretty blank-faced if someone mentioned a song title of mine.”
