Morgan also had connections to the NFL through her various roles, which include vice-chair of the Las Vegas Super Bowl host committee and board of directors of Allegiant Travel Co., both of which she was appointed to in 2021.
Allegiant Travel Co. owns Allegiant Air, which has the naming rights to the Raiders’ Allegiant Stadium.
Sandra Douglass Morgan was named president of the Las Vegas Raiders on July 7 2022 making her the first black woman to lead a team in NFL history.
