Goldberg was also the former host of an afternoon drive show on Miami’s 560 WQAM radio, an all-sports network that aired from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on weekdays.

Goldberg hosted and co-hosted the popular talk radio call-in show in South Florida for three decades, first at 610 WIOD and then at 560 WQAM.

He berated, confronted, and yelled at his callers in an in-your-face, brutally honest manner. Sonny Hirsch, Goldberg’s co-host at the time, said in 1981, “He is, without a doubt, the bad guy. He screams at people. I don’t. I’m a very nice person.”
