Patrick Nathaniel Reed is a professional golfer from the United States who competes on the LIV Golf Tour.

Reed turned professional in 2011 after winning the NCAA Championship at the age of 20. He missed the cut in his first PGA Tour event, the FedEx St. Jude Classic, in June.

Reed competed in two more events in 2011, earning slightly more than $20,000. He competed in two Nationwide Tour events and earned slightly more than $5,000.

T-11 at the Frys.com Open was his best finish. After entering the First Stage, he finished T-22 at the PGA Tour Qualifying Tournament to earn his PGA Tour card for 2013.

Reed has nine PGA Tour victories, including one major championship, the 2018 Masters Tournament.

He has also won two World Golf Championships, the WGC-Cadillac Championship in 2014 and the WGC-Mexico Championship in 2020.

Reed has represented the United States in team competitions such as the Ryder Cup and the Presidents Cup. He earned the nickname “Captain America” as a result of his Ryder Cup performances.
