Kate Bush is beyond pleased. The British artist shared in a new post on her website that she has finished watching the final two episodes of Stranger Things season four, which was released on July 1, and couldn’t be happier about how the season used her 1985 song, Running Up That Hill.

The song’s resurgence in popularity has already made Kate $2.3 million in streaming royalties and she feels excited about this development.

Kate responded and said;

“You might’ve heard that the first part of the fantastic, gripping new series, Stranger Things has recently been released on Netflix. It features the song, Running Up That Hill, which is being given a whole lease of life by the young fans who love the show…”.
Kate also dedicated a post to thanking the Duffer brothers, and hoped back online after the last two episodes of the season dropped and the song entered its third week at No.1.
