Peter Lucassen is the coach of Dutch professional tennis player Botic Van de Zandschulp.

Van de Zandschulp has a career high ranking of world No. 25 in singles by the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP), achieved on 27 June 2022.
Van de Zandchulp has a career high doubles ranking of world No. 222, first achieved on 20 June 2022.
Van de Zandschulp’s breakthrough occurred at the 2021 US Open when he became the third qualifier in US Open history to reach the quarterfinals of the tournament, after defeating seeded Casper Ruud and Diego Schwartzman.
Van de Zandschulp was also the third man to progress to the main draw of all four majors through qualifying in one year, the others being Elias Ymer in 2015 and Frank Dancevic in 2011.

In 2022, Van de Zandschulp reached his maiden ATP Tour final at the Bavarian International Tennis Championships.
Who is Peter Lucassen?
Lucassen was previously employed by the tennis association KNLTB from where he supported van de Zandschulp and under his tutelage, Van de Zandschulp has blossomed.
Lucassen has also coached American Ryan Harrison, who won his maiden ATP Tour singles title in Memphis (2017), reached the final in Atlanta (2017), and captured the doubles title at Roland Garros.
Lucassen, who previously played professionally and reached a career-high ranking of 541, has also coached Ernesto Escobedo, Bjorn Fratangelo and Bradley Klahn.
