Murray proceeded to the University of Washington, where he played college basketball for the Washington Huskies, for one season.
In his first year, he averaged 16.1 points, 5.9 rebounds, 4.4 assists and 1.8 steals in 33.5 minutes, all in 34 games.
In 2022, Murray became an NBA All-Star and is yhe franchise leader in career triple-doubles.
Murray is a winner of the Washington Mr. Basketball by the Washington Interscholastic Basketball Coaches Association as well as The Seattle Times State Player of the Year.
