Malik Ahmed Monk is an NBA professional basketball player from the United States. He played college basketball for the Kentucky Wildcats. Monk attended East Poinsett County High School in Lepanto, Arkansas.

In his rookie season, he averaged 22.8 points, 4.6 rebounds, and 2.7 assists per game. At the same time, he led them to a 25-8 overall record and a berth in the Class 2A state championship game.
Malik Monk was selected to play in the McDonald’s All-American game. And he also happened to be a 5-star recruit on his way to college. He was also named Co-MVP of the McDonald’s All-American game.
Monk recently agreed to a two-year, $19 million contract with the Sacramento Kings that will begin in June 2022. Monk averaged 13.8 points, 3.4 rebounds, and 2.9 assists in his first season with the Lakers after four seasons in Charlotte.
