What happened to Youtuber Technoblade?

Minecraft YouTuber Technoblade has passed away at age 23 after a battle with cancer.

Technoblade revealed that he had been diagnosed with cancer in August 2021.

Technoblade’s death was announced by his father on YouTube in a video titled “so long nerds” on Thursday, June 30, 2022.

In the video, posted on June 30, Techno’s father narrated a final, posthumous message titled “so long nerds,” written for such an occasion.

The video had Technoblade’s trademark dry and often dark humor, but also acts as one final ‘thank you’ to everyone who supported the Minecraft star over the years.

Techno said;

“Thank you all for supporting my content over the years. If I had another 100 lives, I think I would choose to be Technoblade again every single time. As those were the happiest years of my life.”

Technoblade didn’t officially reveal the type of cancer he was fighting, but his family revealed after his death that it was a stage 4 cancer.

However, various community members have speculated that Technoblade may have been diagnosed with Sarcoma.

Sarcoma is the general term for a broad group of cancers that begin in the bones and in the soft (also called connective) tissues (soft tissue sarcoma).

Soft tissue sarcoma forms in the tissues that connect, support and surround other body structures.
