Suspect Kaitlin Armstrong Arrested in Austin

The search for Austin yoga instructed accused of killing a cyclist, Moriah Wilson has been arrested in Costa Rica.

The authorities say they plan to return Kaitlin to the United States to face charges of murder and unlawful flight to avoid prosecution.

The arrest came about 50 days after authorities say Kaitlin entered a home in Central Austin on May 11 and shot Wilson who they say was a rival for her boyfriend’s affection.

The officials have not yet confirmed when she will be returned to the United States. But as of Thursday, she had not yet been booked in the Travis County jail.

On June 10, a Travis County grand jury indicted Armstrong for murder, which carried a prison sentence of five to 99 years or life.
