Novak Djokovic Parents: Meet Dijana Đoković And Srđan Đoković

Dijana Đoković and Srđan Đoković are the parents of tennis star Novak Djokovic. Novak’s father is Sran Okovi. He was born in Mitrovica, Serbia, in 1961.

Sran was a competitive skier and ski instructor. He later opened a restaurant and a sporting goods store.

Dijana Đoković was born on January 24, 1964.. She and her husband used to run the family restaurant. Dijana is one of Novak’s biggest fans and attends most of his games.

Novak’s parents have been involved in his tennis career since he was a child. When he was four years old, his father gave him a mini-racket and a softball, and he began playing tennis. His parents then sent him to Novi Sad for a tennis camp.

Djokovic’s professional career began in 2003. At the age of 20, he ended Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal’s 11-major winning streak by winning his first Grand Slam title at the 2008 Australian Open.

By 2010, Djokovic had separated himself from the rest of men’s tennis, joining Federer and Nadal in the Big Three, the trio of players who have dominated men’s tennis for more than a decade.
