Oscar Otte was born on July 16, 1993, in Cologne, Germany. He turned professional in 2011. So far, he has won 23 singles and doubles titles on the ITF World Tennis Tour as well as seven on the ATP Challenger Tour.

Oscar Otte won his first ATP Challenger Tour doubles title at the Garden Open in Rome, partnering with Andreas Mies in 2017. He later won his first Challenger singles title in Lisbon that year.
