Isner has so far achieved a career high of world No. 8 in singles and No. 19 in doubles.

He is one of the players with the best serves ever to play on the ATP Tour.

Isner has a history of participating in long matches and holds the record of being a competitor in the longest and second-longest matches in a major tournament in history.

His first was at the 2010 Wimbledon Championships, where he beat his opponent in 11 hours and 5 minutes in a match played in three separate days.

His second-longest match was a loss though, it was at the 2018 Wimbledon Championships. He had lost to his South African opponent, Kevin Anderson.
