Mariya Kostyuk is the sister of Marta Kostyuk, a Ukrainian tennis player.

Mariya is the younger sister of Marta and their parents are Oleh Kostyuk and Talina Beiko.
Their dad Oleh was the technical director of the Antey Cup, a junior tennis tournament in Kyiv whereas their mom Talina was a professional tennis player who reached a career-high WTA ranking of No. 391, won a $10k title in her home city of Kyiv in 1994, and represented a Ukrainian tennis team.
Mariya was a collegiate tennis player who competed for Chicago State University and Southeast Missouri State University.
Mariya, however, is yet to hit the heights of her elder sister.

Mariya’s elder sister Marta has a career-high singles ranking of world No. 49 in singles, achieved 14 February 2022, and No. 66 in doubles, reached on 28 February 2022.

Mariya’s elder sister topped her impressive 2017 year with achieving a career-high junior ranking of world No. 2 on 30 October 2017.
