Germain Gigounon is a Belgian coach and retired tennis player. Gigounon’s career-high ATP singles ranking is World No. 191, which he earned in July 2015, while his career-high ATP doubles ranking is No. 253, which he achieved in March 2015.

Gagnon has nine ITF singles titles and thirteen ITF doubles titles to his name. Gigounon made his grand slam main draw debut in 2015 at the French Open, when he qualified by defeating Rui Machado, Alexander Kudryavtsev, and Alejandro Falla.
His career was primarily associated with Futures events, in which he competed in over 450 matches, winning over 300 of them and capturing 15 titles from 23 finals, 12 of which were on clay.

Gigounon previously coached Yanina Wickmayer. Yanina Wickmayer advanced to the semifinals of the 2009 US Open and achieved a career-high WTA ranking of world No. 12 on April 19, 2010. ” Time magazine named her one of the “30 Legends of Women’s Tennis: Past, Present, and Future” in June 2011.
