Heinrich Malet is the father of German professional tennis player Tatjana Maria. Sadly Heinrich Malek passed away.

Tatjana Maria has two WTA Tour singles titles and four doubles titles, as well as 15 ITF Circuit singles and doubles titles.
She achieved her best singles rating of world No. 46 in November 2017, and her best doubles ranking of No. 54 in June 2016.
Maria had a break in 2013 but returned to the stage at the Copa Colsanitas in 2014. She won her two WTA Tour singles championships in the 2018 Mallorca Open as well as the Copa Colsanitas 2022.

Maria has also represented Germany in the Fed Cup competition 12 times (18 times) between 2006 and 2011, and again between 2018 and 2020.
She married her coach, retired tennis player Charles-Edouard Maria, on April 8, 2013. Their first child, Charlotte, was born on December 20, 2013, and their second daughter, Cecilia, was born on April 2, 2021.
