Shareef Rashaun O’Neal is an American professional basketball player. He attended Crossroads School in Santa Monica, California. As a senior forward, O’Neal was named among the finest high school basketball players in his class.

O’Neal received his first scholarship offer from an NCAA Division I programme at USC in May 2015. In the months that followed, he received offers from Baylor, LSU, UCLA, and Kansas State.
Shareef was a redshirt freshman year with the UCLA Bruins after having heart surgery. He was a reserve for the Bruins in 2019-20 before moving to LSU midseason.

He played in 14 games, averaging 2.9 points and 2.1 rebounds while playing an average of 9.4 minutes per game at LSU.

Shareef was undrafted in the 2022 NBA drafts. However, The Los Angeles Lakers invited Shareef O’Neal as an undrafted rookie free agent to play for the Lakers in the NBA Summer League next month.
