Peggy McElhenny Cause Of Death: What Happened To Hugh McElhenny’s Wife?

Peggy Jean McElhenny was an American woman raised in Los Angeles.

She was born on June 11, 1929, in San Mateo, CA to Margaret and Alexander Ogston.

Peggy was Vice president of her senior high school class in 1948 and president of the co-ed club. She played drums in the Drum and Bugle Core.

She was married to her high school sweetheart, Hugh Edward McElhenny till her death. Peggy was an excellent homemaker. She enjoyed decorating the many homes they owned over the years and did so beautifully.

Hugh McElhenny’s wife Peggy McElhenny passed away peacefully on April 20, 2019, in Henderson, Nevada. She was 89.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Morgan and Alexander.

Peggy McElhenny is survived by daughters Karen McElhenny (Christopher), and Susan Hemenway (Russell); grandchildren Sean Simmons (Jennifer), Jennifer Hemenway, Kyle Hemenway, Keith Hemenway (Loreal); great-granddaughters Ally and Josie Simmons and great-grandson Hudson Hemenway.

Peggy’s husband Hugh McElhenny died on June 17, 2022, at age 93.
