What congressional district is Seminole County?

The 7th congressional district of Florida is a congressional district located in the state of Florida, United States. The district is centred in the north-central portion of the state.

St. Augustine, the first post-Columbian town in the United States, was part of the district from 2003 to 2013, which encompassed the suburban area between Orlando and Daytona Beach.

The district encompassed the entirety of the counties of Flagler and St. Johns, a tiny portion of eastern Putnam County, parts of Volusia County, including DeLand, Deltona, Ormond Beach, and Daytona Beach, a large portion of western Seminole County, and a small, primarily suburban area of Orange County.

The district currently encompasses all of Seminole County, northern Orange County, much of downtown and northern Orlando, as well as the communities of Maitland and Winter Park, as a result of court-ordered redistricting in 2015.

The University of Central Florida, which had the largest student body in the US as of 2021, is also located in this district. The district is currently represented by Democrat Stephanie Murphy
