Stamkos wedded his Canadian wife, Porzio, on June 30, 2017.
They met while in high school in Ontario, and eventually got married in Toronto in the presence of friends and family.

Stamcos is the captain of the Tampa Bay Lightning.
He led the Lightning to the Stanley Cup championships, winning the cup in 2020, and 2021 consecutively, and now in the 2022 Stanley Cup Finals.

Steven Stamkos Early Life
Steven Stamkos was born on February 7, 1990, and has Macedonian and Scottish roots.
He was raised in Ontario, and played for the Markham Waxers in the Eastern AAA Hockey League of the Ontario Minor Hockey Association (OMHA).
Stamkos was schooled at the Central Park Public School and St. Brother André Catholic High School in Markham, Ontario.
He proceeded to further his studies at the Northern Collegiate Institute and Vocational School in Sarnia.
Stamkos is an eight-time consecutive winner in minor hockey and participated in the 2003 Quebec International Pee-Wee Hockey Tournament.
