Frances Pulley Cause Of Death: What Happened To John Wall’s Mother?

In 2019, Frances Pulley, the mother of American basketball star, John Wall, died after suffering from cancer.

Pulley died at age 58.

John, who graduated from Word of God Christian Academy, was very close to his mother.

John’s father had long ago died from liver cancer. At that time, John was just 9 years old.

His mum, Pulley had always been his source of encouragement.She had always advised him to be at peace with people and to give back to the society.

During his signing in of a five-year contract extension by the Wizards in 2013, John recanted how Pulley worked “three to four jobs” and taught him to “strive to be a better person”.

“It was like a breathtaking moment, seeing my mom and seeing everything she worked for,” Wall had said.

“I mean, I do this because I love the game of basketball and I love playing it, but you also do it for her, as a single parent and what she had to do to raise us and I feel I’m fortunate enough to have the opportunity, especially, to take care of her for the rest of her life and do other things in the community”, he added.
