Who is David Ross’s first wife Hyla Ross?

Hyla Ross is the first wife of American former professional baseball catcher who is the current manager for the Chicago Cubs of Major League Baseball (MLB) David Ross.

Hyla and David reportedly met while in high school and began dating. The high school sweethearts got engaged in the fall of 2001 and eventually tied the knot about five years later, in February 2005.

Much is not known about Hyla as she loved to keep a low-profile.

However, Hyla and David were married for about 15 years and divorced in 2020 and the major reason behind their separation is David’s baseball career.

Hyla and David began to have trouble in their marriage after David was consistently occupied with baseball responsibilities despite his retirement from the game.

This was because of his responsibilities as a baseball manager, coupled with his work with ESPN as well as his appearance on Dancing with the Stars.

David and his former spouse, Hyla, have three kids, two daughters, and a son.
