WWE’s long-time referee, Tim White, has passed on. The cause of death has not been mentioned yet as his family is yet to release a statement on it.

It is unknown the circumstances that led to his death.

White was a professional wrestling referee. A shoulder injury during a Hell in a Cell match between Triple H and Chris Jericho at Judgement Day effectively ended White’s in-ring career, but While still remained a major part of WWE working behind the scenes as an official and talent agent until 2009.

At WrestleMania XX in 2004, White returned to referee the match between Chris Jericho and Christian; he reinjured his shoulder during the final three counts of the match, forcing him to end his refereeing career.
