Natalie Jane Pinkham was born on September 20, 1977, in Buckinghamshire, United Kingdom. Her mother Joy is a barrister while her father John Pinkham is a property developer.  She was raised alongside an older DJ brother Sam, who presents the early morning show for Virgin Radio.

Natalie Pinkham attended Queenswood School, and later went to Rugby School. She studied politics at the University of Nottingham. She was a researcher at Endemol on BBC Two’s Ready Steady Cook, an assistant producer on International King of Sports, and then as an assistant producer on Superstars for IMG/TWI.]

Natalie Pinkham became the first woman to commentate on a Formula One session on British television in 2021. She tied the knot with Owain Walbyoff, the Managing Director at Endemol Games. The couple married in Portugal in July 2012 and are proud parents of Willow Mirela Walbyoff (born on 17 January 2015) and Wilfred Walbyoff (born on 20 June 2016).
