Who made the U.S. Open cut?

The USGA establishes the cut line after the first 36 holes as the top 60 players plus those tied at the end of that group regardless of how many shots those players are from the lead.

The final cut remained at three over, with 64 players continuing to the weekend. Only four of the breakaway tour’s players made the cut on Friday, with Dustin Johnson and Patrick Reed leading the way at 1 over.

Bryson DeChambeau and Richard Bland also made the cut. Sergio Garcia and James Piot were among the plus-4 players who narrowly missed the cut.

Amateurs players including Travis Vick, Austin Gresser, Sam Bennet, and Stewart Hagestad all made the cut in the national open at the Country Club in Brookline, Massachusetts.

Phil Mickelson, Viktor Hovland, and Cameron Smith are among the players who missed the cut in the United States Open in 2022. Shane Lowry, world No. 24, also failed to make the cut.
