Crenshaw wears an eye patch on his right eye following after a bomb explosion which damaged his eye in 2012 during an operation in Afghanistan.
Prior, Crenshaw used to wear the glass eye, but he admitted that it was distracting others hence the switch to the eye patch.
In a video, Crenshaw outlined why he wears the eye patch. Crenshaw said;
“There’s no reason for me to wear an eye patch when I am with family or friends because they’re used to my many glass eyes”.
“Even if it’s a natural-looking eye, it doesn’t look quite real. “It’s very distracting.” “And I’m very self-conscious about it.”
