Dan Crenshaw is an American politician who is currently serving as the Member of the United States House of Representatives from Texas’s 2nd district. Prior to becoming a politician, Dan Crenshaw served as a United States Navy SEAL officer.

How did Dan Crenshaw injure his eye?
Dan Crenshaw has lost his right eye and currently makes use of his left eye for vision. Dan Crenshaw’s right eye got destroyed in 2012 during his military service when he was hit by an improvised explosive device explosion in Afghanistan’s Helmand Province.

The exploding affected both of his eyes but with the intervention of surgery, his left eye was saved from being destroyed.
After some years in service, Dan Crenshaw retired as a result of medical issues in 2016 and at that time he held the rank of lieutenant commander.
Dan Crenshaw was very instrumental in his Navy work and he bagged two Bronze Star Medals and the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal with valour.
