With 33,643 points, he is the fourth-leading scorer in league history. He was the first player in NBA history to reach 30,000 points and 6,000 assists in his career, and one of only four players to reach 25,000 points, 6,000 rebounds, and 6,000 assists.

During the 2005–06 and 2006–07 seasons, Bryant led the NBA in scoring. His 81 points against Toronto in 2006 was the second-highest total in NBA history, after only Chamberlain’s 100.
