James Monteinez Wiseman is a professional basketball player in the National Basketball Association for the Golden State Warriors (NBA). He was a member of the Memphis Tigers basketball team in college.

After his final season, he won many national player of the year awards and appeared in the McDonald’s All-American Game.
The Golden State Warriors selected Wiseman with the second overall pick in the 2020 NBA draught. He made his NBA debut on December 22, 2020, with 19 points, six rebounds, and two steals in a 99–125 loss to the Brooklyn Nets.
Wiseman had a season-high 25 points and six rebounds in a 123–111 win over the Minnesota Timberwolves on January 27, 2021.

Wiseman tore his right meniscus on April 11, according to reports. He had successful surgery to repair his torn meniscus on April 15 and was later ruled out for the rest of the season.
