Love Island contestant, Afia Tonkmor is British but she has Nigerian roots. Her parents are from Nigeria.

Afia is a new face on Love Island and she is a lounge host, working in a private member’s club in London.

Afia is 25 years old and arrived Spain just in time to get entangled with Liam Llewellyn, who became single in the final moments of the last episode.

“It just seems like a once in a lifetime opportunity to meet someone, have an amazing summer, just have so much fun and have a bit of a summer romance as well”, she said.

“And we probably shouldn’t expect her to play it too cool once she’s in the house. “I fall in love quickly, too quickly, two dates I am like, ‘OMG I am obsessed with this boy, he’s everything,’” she added.

Liam later received a message informing him that he had been voted to go on a date with both Ekin-Su and Afia.

Also on the show, Luca was faced with confrontation from Andrew over a minor gossip.
