Davie Wilson, a former Scottish footballer who played for the Rangers, passed away on June 14, 2022, after a long battle with dementia.

Wilson died at age 85.
The Rangers had announced the death of the legend via a statement.
Wilson won the major honours 11 times between 1956 and 1967. And within the same period, he won 22 22 caps for Scotland and scored 10 goals.
Wilson played as a left winger and led his team to the 1960 European Cup semi-final and 1961 Cup Winners’ Cup.
Wilson made 373 appearances across 11 seasons at Ibrox, with a total of 158 goals.
He later joined the Dundee United and Dumbarton and at the same time, managed the Sons and Queen of the South.

He clinched four League titles, five Scottish Cups and two League Cups.
Before his demise, Wilson was inducted into the Hall of Games of the Rangers, Dundee United and Scotland.
