Where does the money come from for LIV Golf?

LIV is funded by Saudi Arabia’s sovereign wealth fund, and critics allege the country is using golf to boost its global image (aka “sports washing”).

The Public Investment Fund (PIF), the sovereign wealth investment fund of Saudi Arabia and one of the largest in the world, has backed and is financing LIV Golf Investments, the parent company of LIV Golf.
