Aamir Liaquat Wife: Who Is Dania Malik?

Dania Malik was the wife of late Pakistani politician, columnist and television host Aamir Liaquat Hussain.

Hussain was a top ranking TV anchor and was listed three times in The 500 influential Muslims worldwide, and was among 100 popular personalities of Pakistan.

Hussain, however, faced a lot of criticism on several occasions as a result of his controversial comments about superstars.

Hussain was a member of the National Assembly of Pakistan from August 2018 to October 2021, when he resigned from the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf.

Previously, Hussain was a member of the National Assembly from 2002 to 2007 and served as the Minister of State for Religious Affairs from 2004 to 2007 in the federal cabinet of Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz.

Sadly, he died on 9 June 2022 in his room at his residence due to suffocation, as per police his house was full of smoke due to generator.

Who Is Dania Malik?

Dania Malik was Hussain’s third wife.

Malik took to social media following his death to post a message which indicated that there was bad blood between them.

Malik wrote; “May Allah forgives Aamir and places him in Jannah. Ameen.”

Malik tied the knot with Hussain in February 2022.

And despite being married for just 4 months, Malik revealed that she had filed for divorce from him in May and further shared that she had approached the court to carry out the legal procedure.

Malik had filed for a khula (woman’s right to divorce) from her husband, saying that Hussain was not how he seemed on TV.

In furtherance, Malik claimed that her four months of marriage with Hussain was nothing but ‘torment.’
