Lauren Burke is a softball player at the University of Texas.

A lefty utility player, and FloSoftball’s No. 18 recruit in the nation coming out of Marist H.S. in 2017, Burke was;
- A three-time NFCA High School All-American selection (2014, 2016, 2017),
- A two-time Gatorade Oregon Player of the Year (2016, 2017) and
- A multiple-time first-team all-state and all-conference selection.
As a high school junior in 2016, Burke broke former Alabama All-American Kayla Braud’s Marist H.S. single-season batting average record by hitting a remarkable .701 with 75 hits, 67 runs, 18 doubles, 21 HR’s, 59 RBIs, 24 steals in 26 attempts and a 1.510 slugging percentage.

Burke also tied a national record for the most home runs in a single game with four against Eagle Point H.S., on April 29, 2016, and hit three bombs during a May 16, 2016, contest against St. Helens.
Burke helped her club team, the Beverly Bandits, to a Premier Girls Fastpitch (PGF) U-16 National Championship.
Burke’s career is on the rise and as of now, she has chalked the following honors;
- 2021 D1Softball Preseason Second Team All-American,
- Big 12 Conference Player of the Week (March 3, 2020 & April 27, 2021) and
- 2018 Pac-12 Conference All-Freshman.
