Patty Gasso is an American softball coach for the Oklahoma Sooners.

She has been the head softball coach at the University of Oklahoma since 1995.

Patty Gasso has led the Sooners team to five national championships and has compiled a career record of 1,381–342–2 and a winning percentage of .801.

Born Patricia Marie Froehlich in Los Angeles, Gasso was raised in Torrance, California.

She played softball at California State University, Long Beach.

Gasso also coached softball at Long Beach City College from 1990 to 1994, compiling a record of 161–59–1.

She was inducted into the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) Hall of Fame in 2012.

Patty Gasso is married to Jim Gasso, a soccer coach and owner of the Intencity sports training academy in Norman, Oklahoma, United States.

She and her husband Jim share two children, JT Gasso and DJ Gasso.

JT Gasso is a softball assistant coach for the Oklahoma Sooners and DJ Gasso is an assistant softball coach at the University of Utah.
