Julien BriseBois is the eighth general manager of the National Hockey League’s Tampa Bay Lightning.

BriseBois was the Lightning’s second general manager, bringing the Stanley Cup to Tampa Bay in 2020 and then again in 2021, making the Lightning only the second team since the turn of the century to win back-to-back Cups.
He oversees all aspects of Lightning hockey operations, including the coaching and scouting staff, player acquisition and development, and minor league affiliations and operations. He reports directly to chairman and governor Jeff Vinik while also serving as alternate governor.

Under BriseBois’ direction, the Lightning became the first team in franchise history to win the NHL’s Presidents Trophy for the best regular-season record, finishing 21 points ahead of second-place Boston and Calgary
. Tampa Bay’s 128 points were the fourth most in an NHL season, and the Lightning tied the 1995-96 Detroit Red Wings for the most victories (62) in a single season.
